In March 2020, when Apple shut down retail stores, I was selected to lead a program to transition over 8,000 retail team members to work from home. I prioritized, planned, and executed change management techniques to ensure a seamless workflow for the team while transforming this workforce. I also provided positive leadership to promote teamwork and remedy attendance issues through use of incentive-based strategies to retain 98% of employees.
The team helped Apple leadership to develop technical documentation and processes in case something like this every happens again, creating a more agile retail workforce.
